The Coordinating Officer is appointed by the Accountant General of the Ministry of Finance, followed by receiving the qualifications to operate as Treasury Officer, which is approved by the Head of the Civil Administration.

The coordinating Officer is responsible for the Implementation of the Budget Foundations Law, the Annual Budget Law, the State Property Act and the Mandatory Tenders Law and Regulations. Such provisions will be carried out in the respective legislation (regulations and orders).

Responsibilities and Services:

  • Management in work performance and supervision of the budget for the unit and its departments

  • Preparation of accounts and financial reports

  • Managing various financial deposits and revenues of COGAT

  • Centralizing acquisitions and engagements

  • Issuing payments for wages of employees in the unit

  • Providing bookkeeping services and auditing activities for the unit
