The Custodian Staff Officer is responsible for abandoned government property in Judea and Samaria. The office is responsible for managing state lands, abandoned assets and Jewish lands purchased before 1948, during the British Mandate of Palestine.

Areas of responsibility and services:

  • Managing state lands, allocations, markets and collections.

  • Managing absentee's assets.

  • Granting authorizations for planning, membership in planning committees and signing construction plans.

  • Declaring state lands, working with the Team for Examining Land Status.

  • Allocating real estate for economic projects through public tenders.

  • Approving property rights, transfer of rights, liens and foreclosures.
